
Aingarth Rest Home Ltd was purchased by the current owners family in 1982 and has remained a family run business ever since. Today, the home is proudly led by the third generation of the family, continuing a long standing commitment to providing personalised care and support for older people within our community.
Jade Jones is the current manager of Aingarth, previously managed by Jade's mother Sharon Jack, and prior to that Sharon's mother and father - Pauline and Robert Jack who were the ones that purchased Aingarth in 1982.
Jade became the home manager on 5th September 2022. Aingarth has always been part of Jades life whilst growing up and into adulthood. Jade worked part time as a care assistant whilst studying for her nursing degree. Once qualified as a registered nurse Jade progressed quickly to Junior Sister in Colwyn Bay Hospital and then onto Ward Manager in Llandudno hospital. Jade has also achieved level 5 Managing an Adult Care Service and ILM (institute of leadership and management award). Jade has recently completed the second year of a masters degree MSC in Leadership and Management in Healthcare. Jade enjoys keeping up to date with the latest research and developments in Health and Social Care and hopes to introduce some of her ideas to create a positive experience for the individuals using our service and for those employed by Aingarth Rest Home
Sharon Jack has a degree in Law, NVQ 4 Registered Manger Award, and NEBBS Management qualification. Sharon's role as Responsible individual allows her to take time to chat with the residents, their families and the wider community to ensure that the care provided is the highest possible. Sharon is very approachable and has good relationships with the care home staff. Sharon attends the care providers meetings regularly and is well known within the local care home community. Prior to managing Aingarth Sharon worked as Assistant to the Director of SSAFA in Germany (The Forces Social Services) then from 1991 Sharon became the Registered Manager of Aingarth. She has now stepped down as the manager, but continues to play a pivotal part in the running of the home as the Responsible Individual
Georgie Dale - Joined the team as senior carer in March 2023 and later in 2023 took on the role as acting assistant manager. Georgie has achieved her level 4 in health and social care, Georgie started her career in care working in the residential home setting. Georgie then progressed on to working in the NHS starting as a healthcare assistant and then completed her level 4 and was promoted to Assistant Practitioner. Georgie enjoys the care home environment and has a passion for making the residents lives as fulfilling as possible
Most of our care team live in the surrounding area and are familiar with the area which is a help to our individual’s. During the day there are always three members of the care team on duty excluding the Home Manager who is present within the home on a flexible basis and on call 24 hours a day. In addition to this the assistant manager works across 3-4 days to suit the needs of the service. From 8pm there are always two members of night staff on duty, both are awake throughout the night to give support and assistance. A senior member of staff is always on call and available in the event of an emergency or general advice and support. The Home Manager and Responsible Individual are available at all times. All new staff receive training in the home’s philosophy and values as part of their induction training
